About Dr. Muhammad Khalid
I am a retired Professor of Physics, but I firmly believe that the pursuit of knowledge has no age limit, and learning is a lifelong journey. The path that brought me to where I am today began in a very humble place – a primary school in a small village.
My Educational and Academic Journey
After Completing my Primary Education, I moved away from home to study at
Bilot Sharif, a boarding middle school, where I completed my middle school education. This early experience taught me independence and resilience. From there, my academic journey unfold as follows:
Matriculation: Comprehensive High School, Dera Ismail Khan.
Intermediate (F.Sc) & Bachelor (B.Sc): Government Degree College, Dera Ismail Khan
Master (M.Sc) in Physics: Department of Physics, Gomal University, Dera Ismail Khan.
Ph.D in Physics: The University of Manchester, United Kingdom.
After earning my doctorate from the UK, I returned to Pakistan to give back to my homeland. I dedicated my career to nuturing young minds as a Professor in the Department of Physics at Gomal University. During my tenure at the university, I also authored two Books, “Meezan” and “Tajdeed-e-Pakistan”, which reflect my socio-political and philosophical thoughts.
NADIK EDUCATION SYSTEM AND MY PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATON
While teaching at the university level, I always felt a deep calling to reform education at the grassroots level. To turn this vision into reality, I founded the Nadik Science School in 1992.
Although I am now officially retired from my university service, my mission to spread education remains as active as ever. Through Decades of teaching and mentoring thousands of students, the greatest lesson I have learned is this:
“Don’t just make children read; teach them how to learn.”
True education is not about rote learning; it is about awakening the ability to think critically.
